Green Gable Cottage

Green Gable Cottage is a privately owned, 1200 square foot, single story vacation home that has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Built in 1993, it sleeps a maximum of eight. Please note that this is a non-smoking cottage and absolutely no pets allowed. Guests need to provide their own towels, sheets, pillowcases and firewood. Forced air heating will keep you warm in the winter. There is enough parking for 4 cars, with easy access. Your fishing boat can be kept in a fenced section and your equipment stored in a ski locker.

Your home away from home lends itself to a relaxing, fun vacation in the Big Bear area. The dining table seats eight in a bay-window area decorated with moose and pine trees. There is also an additional drop leaf table. The rustic decorations add to the cabin atmosphere. A large collection of videos and a VCR provide many hours of entertainment. A queen-size sofa-sleeper is next to the cozy fireplace in the living room.

A spacious open living room has a cathedral, vaulted ceiling of knotty pine adding to the cabin atmosphere. There is a floor to ceiling wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Other amenities include a dishwasher and washer & dryer. There is a knotty pine and tile bar with additional seating for eating. A king-size bed, walk-in closet, and private bathroom highlight the master bedroom.

There is a quaint romantic feel to the bedroom with burgundy chairs and country decorations. A third cable television is mounted from the wall for easy viewing from the king size bed. The large, second bedroom offers two twin beds and a bunk bed, with pillows and blankets. Plenty of games in the closet and a cable television make the room ideal for a family. A sliding glass door leads out onto the back rear deck with a wood-burning chiminea surrounded by a woodsy view.

Monday through Thursday: $90 per night
Friday through Saturday: $110 per night

Weeknights: $110.00
Weekend nights: $165.00

Payment Details: The minimum stay is 2 nights. If you stay more than three nights, you will recieve a 10% discount (holidays excluded). We accept credit cards, money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, or paypal (www.paypal.com).
